About the event
Pastry instructor Gina Guth shares the tricks and easy method for creating a flaky crust. You will learn how to mix using either shortening or lard, how to roll with ease and transfer to the pie pan.
The $50 cost includes the lesson, recipe, and ingredients to make a double pie crust.
Gina will give a demonstration on filling and assembling the pie and how to flute with special tools and by hand the old fashioned way.
Then you'll choose your flavor from a selection of canned pie filling from Seaquist Orchards of Sister Bay and complete your pie making.
Take home to bake later or freeze.
