About the event
Bagel dough contains no fat. This is called a lean dough. In this class you will learn how to assemble the ingredients to make the dough, shape and bake for an easy way to impress your family and friends!
The recipe may seem complicated to make at home, but honestly couldn’t be easier. Homemade bagels taste fresher, are cheaper, and you’ll be amazed at how fun they are to make.
The rising time for bagel dough is 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Because of this, the ingredients are assembled ahead of time so that the dough has risen when you arrive.
Then, during the class we’ll shape, boil and bake the prepared dough. You will each make and bake 6 bagels.
While the bagels are baking, we’ll work in groups to create flavored cream cheese spread. You will also watch a video on how to mix the dough and receive the recipe.
