About the event
In this class you will be guided in the fermentation and dough creation process and will go home with a ball of dough to cold proof for making pizza. Instructions will be shared as to how to shape, top and bake your pizza dough at home. The process will be demonstrated in class by Nathan and baked for all to sample the finished product.
Neapolitan pizza, also known as pizza Napoletana, is a round pizza originating in Naples, Italy.
It's characterized by a thin base that puffs up around the edges, creating an airy crust with dark charred spots. The pizza is made with simple, fresh ingredients like raw tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil, and a basic dough that's fermented for 12 hours to several days.
