About the event
The Flour Pot owner, Gina Guth shares her recipe for making this delicious dessert.
Her recipe features a cream cheese base, enriched with heavy cream, eggs, vanilla, sugar, and flour. We begin by assembling and baking a flour crust (gluten friendly is available upon request). While baking we’ll mix the other ingredients and when the crust is cooled, we’ll add the filling and bake in a water bath.
Because the cake should be baked for at least an hour, during that time you will see a demonstration on how to thicken fruit for toppings. We will also share the method for decorating a pre-baked cheesecake with caramel, chocolate and pecans.
You will take home a 5” plain cheesecake.
