About the event
Pastry instructor Jen Berg shares the tricks and easy method for creating a flaky pie crust. You will learn how to mix using either shortening or lard, how to roll with ease and transfer to the pie pan. She will demonstrate how to flute the pie with special tools and by hand the old-fashioned way.
The $50 cost will allow you to make a fruit (apple or cherry) pie with filling from Seaquist Orchard in Door County. You will make a solid crust or lattice pie top. Bake in our commercial oven or take home to bake later.
