About the event
A ladyfinger is a type of sponge cake that is light, airy, and shaped like a slender finger. They are often used in desserts such as tiramisu, trifles, and charlottes, where they can soak up syrups and add texture.
In this class taught by Chef Gina, the youth will learn how to mix and pipe the batter for the cookies. While baking, we'll make cooked chocolate pudding from scratch using a microwave method. All wholesome ingredients include egg yolks, whole milk, cocoa, sugar, and a thickening agent called Thermaflo. We will then assemble pudding cups and top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate. The perfect mix to dip those ladyfinger cookies into.
