Join us as our Flour Pot instructors share different recipes for heritage baking recipes. The focus of this class is yeast risen cinnamon rolls made from scratch.

About the event
Because cinnamon roll yeast dough requires about 1 1/2 hours of rising time, pre-made risen dough will be prepared prior to the class start time.
Each attendee will be given a portion of the risen dough . They will then learn how to roll out the dough ball, make the cinnamon filling, and form the risen dough to be placed in a baking pan.
While the rolls are rising, (45 minutes more) students will watch a video demonstration on how the ingredients were assembled. They will also learn how to make a cream cheese frosting to add to their rolls when the baking is complete. In addition, a recipe for using this dough to make Caramel Pecan Sticky Buns will be shared.
Students can choose to take home their pan of cinnamon rolls for rising and baking the next day or they can wait for them to rise and bake in house that day.
Class will conclude with sampling the product. All ingredients are supplied. Recipes will be shared.
