About the event
Why Knife Skills Matter
The core knife skills include proper grip (pinch or handshake), stabilizing your cutting board, using the claw for safety, and mastering basic cuts such as slicing, dicing, mincing, julienne, and chiffonade. These techniques improve speed, safety, and even cooking results.
Making soup and other entrees require proper use of kitchen knives. This class will allow students the chance to learn and practice this invaluable skillset.
