Join us as we remember Grandma Jean Guth, on what would have been her 105th birthday. She is the inspiration behind the Flour Pot business. Stop in to sample her famous Belgian pie and meet her descendants who carry on this time honored tradition.

About the event
At this event 4th generation Belgian/American, Gina Guth and her children share the history and technique for making Belgian pie.
Her Belgian ancestry includes the surnames; Lardinois, Rouer, De Villers, Lu Maye, and Vandertie to name a few.
Learn about Belgian Pie making that was brought to this country by Belgian/American Immigrants in the mid 1800's.
Samples will be available and a brief history of the time honored tradition.
Flavors include apple, raisin, cherry, or prune that are topped with a sweet cheesecake type flavor made from blended cottage cheese. Also, a rice pudding custard filling that is topped with whipped cream when cooled.
