Rice and Cherry

Belgian Pie is a sweet pastry with various fillings and toppings. The dessert is sold at various festivals and Kermiss celebrations throughout Northeast Wisconsin.  In this hands-on virtual class you will receive the recipes and instruction for making a batch of 4 pies of either the apple or prune variety.

Danish Kringle 
 
This Scandinavian pastry that is made with layers of Danish pastry dough in order to create a flaky crust. Kringle is formed into an oval or a rectangle and is filled with a variety of fruit, nut & candies.

Cream Puff Pastry 
 

Learn how to make an airy, delicious cream puff that can be filled with custard or whipped cream (sweet) or as an appetizer filled with chicken or tuna salad (savory) A classic Cream Puff begins with creating a pate a choux. The batter is baked, cooled and filled.

Czech Kolache  
 

Czech kolace, also spelled kolache and kolachy are yeast-risen rounds of dough topped with fruit filling, cheese and/or streusel and then baked.

 

Students will each make 12 Kolache.  Recipes for apricot, poppy seed, cherry and  prune will be provided .

Christmas Cookies  
 

Grab the kiddos and your rolling pin for this online class on making cut out Christmas Cookies. 

 

Bake along with Gina Guth of the Flour Pot in this virtual class as she demonstrates how to make her family's favorite sour cream cookies.  You know, the kind you can dunk in coffee or milk.  Frosted with decorations or just plain they are sure to please.  Children are encouraged to participate.

Chesesecake

In this online class, Gina Guth of the Flour Pot will share her family recipe for New York Style Cheesecake. This recipe is very versatile as you can top it with fruit or serve plain.

 

Make it a turtle cheesecake by adding chocolate sauce, caramel and pecans.  You will learn the super easy trick for baking that creates a beautiful cake with no cracks.
